Homebound Ministry

Our new Homebound Ministry is funded by a grant from the Beulah Foundation. Every week the volunteers in this new ministry mails our church's weekly newsletter, Sunday bulletin, a HomeTouch® sheet, and a personal note to our members and friends who are not able to attend church, either short-term or long-term. They may be at home, in a permanent care facility, or in a convalescent facility.  In addition, every two months our Homebound Ministry team sends a special mailing that includes a large print Upper Room.
Thanks to Robin M. and Sue C. for leading this new ministry team.  Our first mailing for this new ministry was mailed at the end of February 2015 to eight homebound members and friends.
Please consider bringing a touch of LUMC to our homebound members and friends!  Contact the church office for more information about this meaningful ministry or if you know someone who should be added to our receivers list.
Beulah Foundation Grant
The Beulah Foundation of the California-Nevada United Methodist Women awarded our church a grant to start an Older Adult Ministry (OAM) in 2015!
The grant includes support for: new hearing assist devices in the sanctuary; large print hymnals and Bibles; outreach ministry for our homebound members; and support for six informational programs to be held here at church.
Thank you
Beulah Foundation!
