A church family who loves you

United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women (UMW) is an organization dedicated to fulfilling the spiritual fellowship and service-oriented needs of Christian women.  At the Lincoln UMC, the UMW holds monthly meetings in the Social Hall on the second Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise designated;  social time starts at 9:30am with the meeting starting at 10:00am.  You do not have to be a member of the United Methodist Church to be a part of this organization.  We welcome you and urge you to visit one of our meetings!

Every Sunday after the worship service, our UMW provides refreshments in the Social Hall for a time of Fellowship. On the third Sunday of the month, they support our "Third Sunday Potluck" so please bring your favorite dish to share and join us!

Throughout the year, the UMW at Lincoln UMC sponsors several events and fundraisers. These events usually include:

  • St. Patrick's Day Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner
  • Ladies Spring Tea
  • Operation Christmas Child
  • Various service projects for our congregation and community
  • And much more!
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is:
  • to know God
  • to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ
  • to develop a creative supportive fellowship
  • to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the Church.
